Aristotelis Kompothrekas  is a Software Developer with long experience on designing integrated information systems. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Patras and holds a master’s degree in Computational Mathematics and Decision Making. He is a PhD candidate in the Department of Business Administration of the University of Patras.

As an IT Manager in Industrial Plants he has designed and implemented a variety of software applications and solutions for production and supply chain management.

He has taught courses at the Technical Educational Institute of Western Greece such as Databases, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, and Information Systems.

He has a constant collaboration with the Laboratory of Information Systems Management and Business Intelligence of the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras, where he is responsible for the implementation of Data Mining algorithms and legal text processing applications.

In the project “Hoaxes and dissemination of false information- Research on the (in)security of false information online and the technical – financial dimension of the phenomenon – Legal treatment and de lege ferenda”, he is a Deputy Scientific Officer, Technical Advisor and Web Designer and Content Manager of the Project Website.
